Hook is a creative company that aims to make technology more accessible to brands and their audiences. To accomplish the goal, we need the help of Interactive Designers.
Interactive Designers are visual designers with a strong background in technology. They combine strengths in visual design and user interface architecture to support the concepting and development of creative digital campaigns for brand and agency clients. Working alongside Conceptual Creatives and Visual Designers, they are primarily responsible for experimenting with and establishing successful interfaces for multi-screen projects through the combination and application of basic User Experience and User Interaction design skillsets.
To accomplish this task, Interactive Designers function organizationally within the Design Department (reporting to the Director of The Design Department) while operating within project-based teams alongside Creative and Technology in order to develop thoughtful, aesthetically compelling, and technically impressive experiences that delight audiences while exceeding client-set success metrics.
Where Conceptual Creatives (like Art Directors) aim to invent strategic creative solutions to marketing challenges, Interactive Designers set out to bring those solutions to life with insightful visuals and thoughtful interfaces. A great Interactive Designer exists more as a creative partner than an executional wrist. They are perceived as an invaluable resource, able to contribute visuals that are creative, clean, functional, and on-brand with minimal internal course correction. They nimbly support projects from concepting and pitching through to development and delivery.
