ABOUT THE ROLE: 

Hook Producers are hybrids, well-versed in project management, technology, client relations, brand strategy, and business operations. They are the owners of our campaigns, and are responsible for leading teams to create, develop, and deliver the highest quality of work in the industry.

Producers partner closely with our clients to identify, define, and fine-tune their brand's goals, and then collaborate with our internal teams to put them into practice. They are the leaders of their projects, providing information to their teams quickly and efficiently in order to get the job done, while owning internal project work streams and systems.

Constantly adapting to the ever-changing digital landscape, producers maintain a solid understanding of technologies used in creative digital work, and they work to constantly improve and optimize those internal processes for the larger team.

The ideal candidate has a strong sense of ownership over projects - and is a self-starter who can lead independently, but loves to collaborate with a great team. He or she has an appetite to learn, not just within the production field, but in the areas of art, technology and business in general. Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management of complex projects - including display ad campaigns, microsites, games, apps, and visual brand and identity.
  • Partner with the strategic and creative teams, helping to shepherd a project from the brief into a successful campaign
  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead across multiple projects
  • Possess an understanding of overall client goals, brand positioning and forward trajectory
  • Scope projects and maintain associated deliverables and schedules
  • Maintain project budgets that ladder up to larger campaign/client budgetary goals
  • Directly manage team of developers, motion artists, creatives and QA
  • Collaborate closely with other departments and department leads to ensure quality of work and successful completion of projects
  • Provide guidance for Associate producers

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • 2+ years in an interactive environment as producer or project manager
  • A proven history of managing digital marketing and web development projects with heavy client-facing involvement
  • Strong understanding of relevant technologies: HTML5, mobile and responsive web builds, and latest digital advertising specs
  • Strong appetite for learning emergent technologies
  • Experience managing creative workflow and prepping for client creative reviews
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital project lifecycles and different project management methodologies/styles
